1947 Nippon Benkan Kogyo Co., Ltd. founded in Ohta-ku, Tokyo.
1951 Begins self-manufacture of carbon steel butt-weld fittings.
1958 Begins self-manufacture of stainless steel butt-weld fittings.
1960 Kiryu mill, a production facility for manufacturing butt-weld fittings, set up in Kiryu-shi, Gunma.
1963 BENKAN brand trademark registered.
1965 Osaka mill, a production facility for manufacturing large-diameter butt-weld fittings, set up in Amagasaki-shi, Hyogo.
1966 Kiryu mill acquires JIS approval.
1971 Yabuzuka mill, a production facility for manufacturing butt-weld fittings, set up in Ohta-shi, Gunma.
1975 Omori mill, a production facility for manufacturing mechanical joint fittings, set up in Ohta-ku, Tokyo.
1975 Yabuzuka mill and Osaka mill awarded JIS approval.
1978 Omori mill relocated and integrated with Yabuzuka mill.
1987 Thai Benkan Co. Ltd., a facility for manufacturing butt-weld fitting set up in Bangkok, Thailand.
1989 Company name changed to Benkan Corporation.
1989 Thai Benkan Co., Ltd. awarded JIS approval.
1992 Kiryu mill awarded ISO9002 approval.
1994 Yuki mill, a facility specializing on production of stainless steel fittings set up in Yuki-shi, Ibaraki.
1994 Osaka mill awarded ISO9002 approval.
1994 Thai Benkan Co., Ltd. awarded ISO9002 approval.
2001 Benex Corporation founded.
Benex commences business in November, with inheritance of Benkan Corporation's Butt-Weld Fittings and Mechanical Joint Fittings enterprises.
2002 June – Benex introduces its first new product "BK Joint."
2003 March – First full annual statement as Benex – annual sales of JPY 10 billion.
2004 Develops Japan's first bendable stainless piping system.
2005 Introduces Japan's first "one-touch"stainless mechanical joint fitting, "EG Joint," which can be connected manually without any additional equipments.
2008 December – Joins the Canadoil Group.
2009 October – Begins sales of stainless steel flanges.
November – Changes company name to Benkan Japan KK.
